Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive healthcare benefits and disability claims for veterans
- Conduct eligibility assessments and case management for VA services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in federal compliance systems (VistA, VBMS)
- Provide crisis intervention and support services to veteran families
- Conduct outreach programs to increase veteran participation in VA benefits
- Analyze complex regulations to ensure policy compliance and service quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in veteran services or federal healthcare
- Proficiency with VA systems (VistA, VBMS) or similar EHR platforms
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations and veteran benefit programs
- Certification in Case Management (CCM) or Veterans Services preferred
- Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish bilingual environments
