Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 95% accuracy
- Coordinate healthcare benefits and mental health support services
- Conduct eligibility determinations for VA programs and compensation
- Develop Individualized Rehabilitation Plans for transitioning veterans
- Collaborate with medical providers and legal teams on complex cases
- Implement federal compliance regulations (38 CFR, VHA directives)
- Maintain secure veteran records using VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years federal or healthcare administration experience
- VA claims processing certification (preferred)
- Expertise in veterans' benefits programs (VBA, VHA, VR&E)
- Proficient in VBA/VHA systems and federal documentation protocols
- Ability to handle confidential information under HIPAA/PRIVACT
- Strong analytical skills for complex case adjudication
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
