Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability compensation claims with precision and compassion
- Review medical records and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans and their representatives
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) for documentation and case management
- Conduct quality reviews of completed claims to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and legal professionals for evidence gathering
- Maintain detailed case records in accordance with federal guidelines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years of claims processing or veterans services experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Ability to interpret complex medical and legal documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to pass federal background check and VA credentialing
- Knowledge of 38 CFR Title 38 regulations preferred
