Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to veteran patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
- Maintain compliance with VA policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- VHA nursing experience preferred
- Certification in specialty area (e.g., ICU, Med-Surg)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- U.S. citizenship required
