Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran healthcare access and appointment scheduling systems to optimize service delivery
- Analyze healthcare utilization data to identify service gaps and implement process improvements
- Manage veteran satisfaction surveys and develop strategies to enhance patient experience
- Collaborate with clinical staff on resource allocation and operational efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with VA regulations, HIPAA standards, and federal procurement protocols
- Develop and maintain departmental performance metrics and reporting systems
- Serve as liaison between veterans and clinical departments to resolve complex service issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare administration or federal service experience
- Proficiency with VA electronic health records (VistA) and scheduling systems
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and performance metrics reporting
- Knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (VA, HIPAA, CMS)
- Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship required; federal background investigation clearance
