Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation and pension claims with precision
- Provide comprehensive benefits counseling to veterans and their families
- Conduct thorough medical and vocational evaluations for disability claims
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal teams to ensure accurate outcomes
- Maintain detailed case documentation and compliance with federal regulations
- Respond to complex inquiries from stakeholders including Congressional offices
- Participate in continuous training on policy updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in claims processing or veteran services
- Proficiency with VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and federal regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Valid driver's license (for occasional travel to regional offices)
