Responsibilities
- Process veterans' disability compensation and pension claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare programs and benefits
- Provide personalized guidance on VA resources, services, and support systems
- Maintain detailed case documentation in federal compliance systems
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex veteran cases
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran communities in the Memphis area
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in social services, business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience with conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal claim systems
- Knowledge of VA benefits programs and military service structures
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional travel to veteran events
