Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefits claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide in-person and telephonic support for veterans navigating VA services
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate veteran care plans
- Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran populations in Baltimore area
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Associate's degree or 2 years customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and veteran benefits systems
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling
- Knowledge of military culture and veterans' affairs preferred
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus
