Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefits claims with precision and empathy
- Provide personalized guidance on VA healthcare programs and services
- Conduct eligibility determinations for federal and state veteran benefits
- Maintain accurate electronic records using VA proprietary systems
- Coordinate with community organizations for veteran outreach initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports on claim outcomes and veteran satisfaction metrics
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Associate degree or 60 college credits (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
- Knowledge of military service structures and discharge types
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with federal regulatory compliance preferred
