Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular site audits, update content, and troubleshoot bugs to ensure optimal website performance and security.
- Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure web solutions are accessible and function seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and content creators to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Create clear technical documentation and provide training to non-technical staff on web tools and updates.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in front-end web development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). Experience with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is preferred.
- Government Experience: Previous experience working within a state or local government environment is a significant plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
