Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and maintain secure perimeter control during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular facility inspections and safety compliance checks
- Implement rehabilitation programs and educational workshops for incarcerated individuals
- Document incidents and maintain accurate shift reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during weekend emergency protocols
- Train and mentor new correctional staff on weekend operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Pass comprehensive background check and physical fitness assessment
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
