Responsibilities
- Manage weekend citizen service desk operations including permit processing, utility inquiries, and public assistance requests
- Coordinate with emergency services and weekend municipal departments for urgent matters
- Maintain accurate records of weekend transactions using CityWorks software
- Process weekend permit applications and zoning requests with strict adherence to municipal codes
- Conduct weekend facility inspections for compliance and safety protocols
- Prepare weekend shift reports for Monday morning handover to full-time staff
- Facilitate inter-agency communication during non-standard business hours
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years government or public sector administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and municipal software systems
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Cleveland Public Safety clearance within 90 days
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse community interactions
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday with rotating holidays
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
