Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend public health surveillance and data collection for communicable disease outbreaks
- Provide health education and outreach to community events on weekends
- Assist with emergency response operations during weekend incidents
- Maintain accurate public health records and reports
- Coordinate weekend specimen testing logistics for public health labs
- Support vaccination clinics during weekend hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years public health or healthcare experience
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work independently on weekends
- Experience with health data management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
