Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls (police, fire, EMS) during weekend shifts
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Provide clear, calm instructions to callers during critical situations
- Coordinate with multi-agency responders during large-scale incidents
- Monitor radio communications and maintain situational awareness
- Complete mandatory training and certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Ability to multitask under high-pressure situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Pass background check and drug screening
