Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses during weekend shifts
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio communication logs
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance when needed
- Participate in continuous training on emergency protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1-year dispatch or customer service experience
- Colorado P.O.S.T. certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch (NAEMD) certification
