Responsibilities
- Archive Management: Process, index, and securely store incoming government documents and historical records.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate digital and physical databases, ensuring all records are easily retrievable.
- Public Assistance: Assist citizens and staff with document requests and information inquiries during weekend hours.
- Security Compliance: Enforce strict confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive government information.
- Inventory Control: Conduct routine audits of storage areas to ensure compliance with archival standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or Public Administration preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a government, library, or records management setting is highly desirable.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
