Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations to ensure security and order
- Conduct regular patrols and headcounts to maintain accountability
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and medical situations with professional crisis management
- Complete detailed incident reports and administrative documentation with precision
- Operate security systems including control panels and surveillance equipment
- Transport inmates between facilities as required by protocol
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass rigorous background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Must be at least 21 years of age with U.S. citizenship
- Ability to work weekends and holidays consistently
- Strong conflict resolution skills and emotional resilience
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
