Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmate activities in correctional facilities during weekend shifts
- Conduct security rounds and headcounts to maintain facility integrity
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Document incidents and maintain accurate shift reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and healthcare teams during critical situations
- Enforce institutional rules and regulations consistently
- Participate in weekend staff training and emergency drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for report documentation
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
