Responsibilities
- Execute critical state administrative tasks during weekend shifts, ensuring seamless continuity of government operations
- Manage public inquiries and provide exceptional constituent services via phone, email, and in-person channels
- Process and maintain sensitive state records with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications and documentation during weekend operational windows
- Support emergency response protocols and weekend crisis management initiatives as needed
- Utilize state-specific software systems for data entry, reporting, and compliance tracking
- Participate in weekend training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of state regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or public sector operations
- Proven ability to work independently during non-standard hours with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina state government procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and state-mandated record-keeping systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state security clearance
