Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for state agency workstations and servers.
- Execute scheduled maintenance, patch management, and security updates during weekend shifts.
- Monitor network infrastructure for performance bottlenecks and security threats.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and guidance to agency staff.
- Ensure data integrity through regular backup verification and disaster recovery testing.
- Document all technical procedures and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Server Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proven ability to work independently during non-standard hours, including weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
