Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend inspections of bridges, highways, and transit infrastructure using advanced diagnostic tools
- Document findings in digital systems and generate detailed compliance reports
- Coordinate with emergency response teams for weekend infrastructure incidents
- Ensure adherence to federal/state safety regulations and MassDOT protocols
- Train junior inspectors on weekend-specific procedures and safety protocols
- Collaborate with weekday teams to maintain seamless infrastructure monitoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of infrastructure inspection experience
- Valid Massachusetts Class D Driver's License with clean record
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
- Proficiency with CAD software and digital inspection platforms
- Ability to work independently in remote weekend environments
- Strong written communication skills for technical reporting
