Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend inspections of traffic signals, road signage, and pedestrian infrastructure
- Document safety hazards and coordinate emergency repairs with city maintenance teams
- Enforce transportation regulations during weekend events and construction zones
- Generate detailed digital inspection reports using city GIS systems
- Collaborate with weekend event coordinators on traffic management plans
- Respond to weekend infrastructure emergencies within 2-hour response window
- Maintain compliance with federal MUTCD and Oregon ODOT standards
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Class C driver's license with clean record
- 3+ years in transportation safety or infrastructure inspection
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and digital reporting tools
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Experience with MUTCD and ODOT traffic safety standards
- Emergency response certification preferred
- Pass federal background check and security clearance
