Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for all department staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify timesheets and leave requests prior to payroll submission.
- Ensure full compliance with UK tax laws, National Insurance contributions, and pension regulations.
- Handle payroll queries from employees regarding payslips and deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in line with internal audits.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Experience in payroll administration or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE and NICs.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are essential.
