Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, AI) with 2026+ market impact
- Develop and maintain a dynamic technology roadmap aligned with 5-year strategic objectives
- Partner with C-suite to translate trend insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Author quarterly FutureTech Briefings for executive board and investor stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Represent company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with academic research institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in emerging technology forecasting or strategic innovation roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical executives
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
