Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network peripherals.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of employee workstations and mobile devices.
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and supplies.
- Respond to incoming support tickets and user inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy software updates and security patches.
- Conduct basic user training on office applications and cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as per city policy.
