Responsibilities
- Architect 10-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized AI systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies across aerospace, nanotech, and climate tech sectors
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and autonomous system alignment
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Build and mentor a specialized future-tech incubation team
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers and keynote presentations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurology
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (patents required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or quantum cryptography
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., Millennium Project or WFS)
- Prior experience in CTO/Chief Futurist roles at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Publish record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE Spectrum)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Go/Rust preferred)
