Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions.
- Oversee server maintenance, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- Lead troubleshooting and incident response for critical system outages, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and modernize legacy systems.
- Ensure compliance with state security policies, HIPAA, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Manage vendor relationships and perform technical evaluations for hardware and software procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Cisco networking equipment, Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, VCP, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
