Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects ranging from $1M to $10M in value.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and technical constraints early in the lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and updates to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with state procurement policies, IT governance standards, and security protocols.
  • Mentor junior project managers and drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the public sector or large enterprise.
