Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming emergency calls (fire, medical, police) with accuracy, speed, and empathy.
  • Dispatch appropriate emergency responders using two-way radio and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems.
  • Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers to ensure their safety while responders are en route.
  • Monitor the status of emergency units and maintain accurate logs of all communications and incidents.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services.
  • Perform emergency notification duties and assist with administrative tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
