Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including email, phone, and mail, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Prepare, edit, and format complex federal documents, reports, and correspondence with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and conferences for senior federal officials.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for strict regulatory compliance and easy retrieval.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in accordance with federal accounting standards.
- Assist in the onboarding of new federal employees and maintain accurate HR records.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by agency leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government, military, or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with federal regulations regarding record-keeping, privacy, and security is a strong plus.
