Responsibilities
- Manage veteran case files and documentation with strict confidentiality protocols
- Process administrative requests and correspondence within 24-hour turnaround
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling for leadership
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations (VA Handbook 5007)
- Analyze data trends and prepare operational reports for decision-making
- Train staff on new administrative procedures and systems
Qualifications
- US Citizenship (federal requirement)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Experience with veteran service organizations preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
