Responsibilities
- Manage, preserve, and provide public access to all official city records, ordinances, and minutes
- Oversee municipal elections, voter registration, and ballot integrity processes
- Administer oaths of office, permits, and public document certifications
- Develop and implement digital records management systems for enhanced accessibility
- Coordinate with City Council, Mayor's Office, and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with open records laws and regulatory requirements
- Lead public outreach initiatives to enhance civic engagement and transparency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Expertise in Pennsylvania Sunshine Act and public records regulations
- Advanced proficiency in records management software and document automation
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Certification in Municipal Clerk (CMC) or Records Management preferred
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and public presentation skills
