Responsibilities
- Oversee official records management including minutes, ordinances, and resolutions
- Coordinate City Council meetings, agendas, and public hearings
- Manage voter registration and election compliance processes
- Administer oaths of office and notary public services
- Ensure compliance with open records requests and Sunshine Law
- Lead records digitization and archival initiatives
- Serve as primary liaison for public inquiries regarding municipal processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal government experience
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems
- Thorough knowledge of Texas open records laws
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
- Experience managing public meeting logistics
