Responsibilities
- Oversee all official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous documentation
- Manage public records requests ensuring compliance with Oklahoma Open Records Act
- Coordinate City Council meetings, agendas, and legislative processes
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration services
- Supervise records management systems and document preservation protocols
- Serve as primary advisor to City Council on parliamentary procedures
- Lead municipal clerk certification programs and training initiatives
- Manage official city seals and document authentication processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Oklahoma Certified Municipal Clerk (OCMC) designation required
- Expert knowledge of Oklahoma Open Records Act and Sunshine Law
- Advanced proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, DocuWare)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience managing public meetings and legislative processes
