Responsibilities
- Oversee all official city records, ordinances, and council minutes with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Administer city council meetings, agendas, and documentation
- Maintain the official city seal and certification of documents
- Develop and implement records retention policies
- Serve as liaison between public officials and citizens
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems and document control
- Deep knowledge of Missouri Sunshine Law and municipal regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to legal compliance
