Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official municipal records, ordinances, and resolutions
- Oversee public records requests and ensure compliance with Oregon public records laws
- Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and official documentation for City Council meetings
- Administer municipal elections, voter registration, and local ballot measures
- Supervise records management systems and document retention policies
- Serve as custodian of the City Seal and official municipal documents
- Coordinate interdepartmental administrative processes and public inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal government experience with records management focus
- Expert knowledge of Oregon public records laws and municipal governance procedures
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to travel to city facilities
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
