Responsibilities
- Oversee all city record-keeping systems including ordinances, minutes, and vital documents
- Manage municipal election processes and voter registration compliance
- Administer public records requests and Sunshine Law adherence
- Prepare official agendas and coordinate City Council meetings
- Supplement records management and document preservation programs
- Serve as custodian of the city seal and official documents
- Advise on legislative procedures and municipal code updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal government or records management experience
- Arizona Notary Public certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in election administration and voter compliance laws
- Proficiency with records management software and document imaging systems
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Advanced knowledge of open meeting laws and public records statutes
