Responsibilities
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Manage official city records, archives, and public document requests
- Prepare agendas and minutes for City Council and committee meetings
- Oversee licensing, permitting, and municipal code compliance
- Serve as custodian of the City Seal and official documents
- Coordinate interdepartmental administrative operations
- Ensure compliance with Oregon public records laws and ORS requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years municipal government or public sector experience
- Expertise in election administration and public records management
- Proficiency with municipal software (e.g., Accela, QPublic)
- Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 244-260
- Certification as Municipal Clerk (MMC) preferred
