- Oversee official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous accuracy
- Manage election processes, voter registration, and polling place coordination
- Serve as custodian of city seals and official documents
- Provide legislative support to City Council and advisory boards
- Process public records requests within statutory timeframes
- Coordinate municipal board appointments and credentialing
- Ensure compliance with open records laws and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, OnBase)
- Deep knowledge of Missouri Sunshine Law and election procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- Ability to obtain Notary Public commission within 6 months
