Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, archives, and public documents with meticulous accuracy
- Oversee municipal elections, voter registration, and certification processes
- Administer oaths, licenses, permits, and official city certifications
- Prepare and maintain legislative agendas, minutes, and official proceedings
- Serve as custodian of the city seal and official documents
- Coordinate with city departments, state agencies, and community stakeholders
- Implement records management systems ensuring compliance with state/federal laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal government or public sector experience
- Expertise in election administration, records management, and legislative processes
- Proficiency with municipal software systems (e.g., QPublic, LexisNexis)
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 55 and 66
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and ability to work flexible hours
