Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed engineering plans, specifications, and estimates for roads, drainage, and public buildings.
- Oversee construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to contracts, codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and quality control.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies to resolve technical issues and facilitate project milestones.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for public and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering design and construction administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of California Public Resources Code and relevant state/federal regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
