Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale transportation infrastructure projects
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and municipal partners
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for urban mobility solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations (FTA/MassDOT)
- Manage project budgets exceeding $50M with strict adherence to public procurement protocols
- Develop innovative solutions for traffic congestion and transit system optimization
- Present technical reports to legislative stakeholders and public advisory committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of transportation infrastructure experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and transportation modeling software
- Proven track record with federally funded transportation projects
- Strong understanding of ADA compliance and sustainable design principles
- Experience managing contracts and procurement in public sector environments
