Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain county server infrastructure, including virtualization environments and cloud services
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive citizen data
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for county departments during system outages
- Oversee network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Document IT infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with FISMA standards
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and service contracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Certified in CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Expertise in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Active Directory
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management
- Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to travel to county facilities
- Clear background check and ability to obtain public trust clearance
