Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex IT systems and applications using modern frameworks and methodologies.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers and analysts to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical specifications and architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including government officials and department heads, to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure 99.9% system availability.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive county data and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in software development, systems analysis, or IT architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong experience with relational databases (SQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced government environment.
