Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for county hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and server infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce data security protocols and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify IT needs and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and business applications.
- Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience.
- Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and cybersecurity basics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to obtain necessary government security clearances.
