Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain county network infrastructure including servers, workstations, and cloud systems
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive citizen data
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for county departments and remote employees
- Oversee hardware/software lifecycle management and procurement
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery/business continuity plans
- Collaborate with vendors for system integration and upgrades
- Create documentation for IT policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to obtain Nebraska Public Safety clearance
- Valid driver's license with clean record
