Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination for cyber threats
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with DoD agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Train staff on security best practices
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity roles
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification
- Experience with DoD security frameworks
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong incident response documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure)
