Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to county employees via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring rapid resolution of hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain the County's desktop environment, including Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Perform regular system patching, security updates, and hardware troubleshooting to ensure operational continuity.
  • Assist in the deployment of new workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices during system rollouts.
  • Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the Service Desk ticketing system for audit and training purposes.
  • Collaborate with network administrators to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity and infrastructure issues.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA A+ preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role, preferably in a government or corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote management tools.
