Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to ensure real-time threat visibility.
- Support compliance reporting and documentation for government standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and protocols.
- Perform security audits and provide recommendations for remediation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT support.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
