Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats using SIEM tools
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on federal systems
- Develop and implement incident response plans for cyber incidents
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
- Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Active Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
